Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Handyman to join our facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across our centres. The Handyman will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our toys, equipment and centres.
Responsibilities General centres' repairs, minor fixes and maintenance (Kittens' Mittens Child Care Trail, Kittens' Mittens Child Care Square and Kittens' Mittens Child Care Gateway)
Furniture and toys assembly and classroom setup
Child-proofing and safety inspections
Playground and outdoor maintenance
Routine preventative maintenance
Painting, patching, and drywall repair
Snow removal and seasonal upkeep
Inspects and assess the Centre for potential hazards, and report them to the Program Director, Owners and/or required agencies
Other maintenance duties assigned
Pay $20.00-$25.00 per hour
