Mechanical Planner Waste Facility

FDI Services Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Planner at the City of Edmonton Waste Management Facility. Contribute to maintenance efficiency and safety within an industrial setting in Alberta.

In this pivotal role, the Mechanical Planner will focus on planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance to ensure reliable equipment operation. You will work closely with various teams to optimize maintenance strategies and resource allocation, contributing to a safe working environment while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Ensure adherence to safety policies during all activities

• Coordinate with teams to maintain efficient equipment schedules

• Manage and adjust maintenance backlog in the CMMS

• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Red Seal Mechanic or Millwright certification required

• 3-10+ years of relevant maintenance experience

• Proven ability in maintenance planning or coordination

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Mechanical aptitude and leadership qualities
