Join the Town of Morinville as a Seasonal Labourer, working full-time to enhance public spaces from July to August. Focus on vital roadway maintenance and community improvement.

The Town of Morinville is looking for two proactive Seasonal Labourers to assist with various Public Works projects during the summer months. Your primary focus will be on crack sealing and ensuring the upkeep of the Town’s green spaces, sports fields, and sidewalks. Candidates willing to embrace diverse manual labor will thrive in this community-oriented role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance tasks on roads and sidewalks efficiently

• Maintain and report on equipment condition regularly

• Document assessments of local road and sidewalk statuses

• Care for parks, including grass cutting and planting

• Involvement in safety assessments and incident investigations

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License

• Completion of Grade 11 or relevant experience

• Capability for outdoor physical tasks and heavy lifting

• Strong interest in delivering excellent customer service

• Good reading, writing, and math skills
