Position: Equine Maintenance Role at Enoch Cree Nation
Location: Stony Plain

Join the Enoch Cree Nation's Equestrian Department as a dedicated Equine Maintenance Person. This full-time position focuses on horse and stable care, requiring enthusiasm and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of horse care, stable management, and track operations. You'll be responsible for caring for horses while working both independently and as part of a team. Strong physical fitness is necessary, as lifting 50 pounds and working outdoors in various conditions are integral to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to horse care and stable maintenance duties

• Operate small machinery pertinent to equine management

• Ensure cleanliness and safety within the stable environment

• Collaborate with team members while working flexible hours

• Travel to various sites as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience with horses and equine facilities

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Up-to-date First Aid certification

• Ability to lift and manage equipment safely
