Custodian – Competition

Job Purpose

The Custodian will ensure in keeping the Wellness building clean and in an orderly condition. The Custodian will perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass and notifying the Branch Manager of any repairs required. The Custodian ensures the facilities remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. Working under the supervision of the Branch Manager, this position plays a key role in creating an environment conducive to safety, stability and healing.

• Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning methods, equipment, and Infection Prevention and Control.
• Ability to lift, move, or handle materials as part of cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Valid Class S driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.

• Standard work schedule:
  Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed. This may include flexible hours to accommodate staff being out of the office.
• Primary location:
  Enoch Cree Nation Wellness Department.
• Physical fitness required (ability to walk, climb stairs, lift to SO lbs, etc.).
• Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
