Job Description
The GIR DEL Business Centre is the largest full service mobile hydraulic facility in Western Canada. The Centre provides the highest level of knowledgeable customer service for over 40 years.

Duties:
Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive inspections, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs to but not limited to;
Tear down, repair and reassembly of components, inspection for corrosion wear and pitting, testing to various makes of components such as:
Parker, Danfoss, Rexroth, Komatsu, Caterpillar as well as other manufacturer's hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and other equipment.Performs basic troubleshooting on some mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Gir Del’s processes during daily job activities.Assists with documentation that is produced during their daily responsibilities.Ensures duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.Maintains workspace in an orderly manner and other duties as assigned.Fully participate and comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety regulationsEnsure compliance in respective areas of control with all QHSE Management System requirements, policies and proceduresEnsure product quality, workmanship and conformance to all applicable processes, requirements, and regulatory standards in accordance with the established quality assurance systemBe a proactive team member and identify particular needs for product lines and/or processesOther duties as requiredPotential for advancement to managementQualifications/requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Three years or more of experience in hydraulic component repair operationsHave a valid driver’s licenseAbility to read and follow instructions, analyze, and interpret working drawings, technical specifications, etc.Must be mechanically inclinedAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExperience with overhead lifting equipmentMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the country in which the position is locatedAble to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervisionSchedule:
8 hour day shiftMonday to FridaySome evenings, weekends, and on-call, as requiredOvertime as required.What’s in it for you
