Elevate equipment reliability as the Condition Based Maintenance Specialist with Millar Western's Whitecourt Pulp Division. This role focuses on predictive maintenance and continuous improvement in a supportive environment.
Reporting directly to the Mechanical Superintendent, you will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams.
Your role involves monitoring critical asset health, performing detailed data analysis, and implementing corrective actions for equipment inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess experience with rotating equipment, contributing to effective maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze data to assess equipment condition and performance
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for persistent issues
• Recommend repairs and enhance maintenance programs
• Collaborate with planners and superintendents for efficient work execution
• Document findings and maintain condition monitoring databases
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Trade Certificate or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Willingness to obtain ISO Vibration Analysis certification
• Familiarity with condition monitoring technologies
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems
• Advanced analytical and report writing skills
