Enhance building operations as a Building Maintenance Supervisor with BGO. This role emphasizes compliance, team leadership, and the management of maintenance activities and resources.
As a Maintenance Manager at BGO, you will mentor staff while managing daily maintenance and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and legislation. This position requires a proactive approach to inspections, repairs, and effective communication with residents and vendors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Resident Tenancies Act and Fire Code
• Coordinate schedules and performance reviews for the staff
• Oversee routine and emergency repairs on-site
• Maintain detailed service records using Yardi
Requirements:
• Education up to high school diploma plus further studies
• 5 years of building operations experience is essential
• 5th Class Power Engineer Certification necessary
• General understanding of construction and maintenance
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
