As a Building Operator, you will report to the Facilities Manager and play a vital role in overseeing school operations. This position requires expertise in managing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems while ensuring all regulatory compliance. By maintaining high standards, you will support the success of over a thousand students and staff, working collaboratively with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain HVAC and mechanical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections using CMMS
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with external contractors
• Support emergency preparedness and seasonal operations
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or relevant certification preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in building operations
• Familiarity with Building Automation and CMMS
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
