Position: Housekeeper for Alberta Health Services
Be a vital part of patient care at Alberta Health Services as a Housekeeper in the University of Alberta Hospital.

Your role ensures cleanliness and disinfection to support a healthy environment for all.

This full-time Environmental Services position requires performing routine cleaning tasks, operating industrial cleaning equipment, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in patient rooms and common areas. You will interact frequently with patients and staff while maintaining an organized and safe environment. Your reliability and attention to detail are keys to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily cleaning and disinfection protocols

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment effectively

• Restock and maintain supply levels in toilets and wards

• Identify safety hazards and report them ASAP

• Assist in training new staff members on protocols

Requirements:

• Completion of at least Grade 10 or equivalent

• Physically able to lift and manage loads up to 50 lbs

• Experience with chemical cleaners and safety protocols

• Dependable with the ability to work independently

• Completion of necessary orientation and training
