Support safe healthcare environments at High Prairie Health Complex through cleaning, disinfecting, and dependable environmental services work. Casual relief shifts vary across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Alberta Health Services seeks a highly motivated Environmental Services cleaner or housekeeper trained for healthcare settings. You will clean clinical and non-clinical areas, operate industrial equipment, restock supplies, and report hazards. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, especially in healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical healthcare environments
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance
- Empty hazardous waste and replenish supplies and linens
- Identify and report potential hazards to your Working Leader
- Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
- Ability to operate computers and smartphones
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and push or pull 50 pounds
- Effective communication and ability to follow instructions
