Operate building automation and climate control systems at Edmonton Convention Centre as a Maintenance Engineer
2. Support mechanical repairs and safe event operations.
Explore Edmonton seeks a Maintenance Engineer 2 for the Edmonton Convention Centre. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will operate, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment throughout the venue. Your work supports HVAC, plumbing, kitchen and bar equipment, movable walls, bleachers, and conditions serving guests, contractors, clients, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and control climate control systems throughout the convention centre
- Operate building automation systems and adjust HVAC settings
- Repair movable walls, bleachers, and facility equipment
- Make field decisions during priority maintenance situations
- Develop working relationships with other departments
- Fourth Class Engineers Certificate or equivalent qualification
- At least two years of similar maintenance experience
- Strong Microsoft Windows and building automation knowledge
- Ability to work safely with limited supervision
- First Aid or other required certifications, or willingness to obtain
Use building systems expertise, HVAC judgment, and maintenance experience to help operate Edmonton Convention Centre safely and efficiently.
