The General Yard Labourer role with GFL involves essential site operations and maintenance. Candidates must possess a strong safety mindset and be ready to perform physical and repetitive tasks outdoors. Support our maintenance team while keeping work spaces clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general housekeeping and debris clean-up
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and upkeep
• Handle winter snow removal and shoveling duties
• Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning routines
• Provide friendly service to facility visitors
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather
• Willing to be on-call, including holiday coverage
• Strong safety awareness and reliability
Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic as a key member of the GFL outdoor team.
