Warehouse Supervisor
Location:
Edmonton, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $29.00 – $30.00 per hour
About the Role
Are you an experienced leader in warehouse operations? We’re hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client's team in Edmonton. In this role, you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for the daily supervision of the warehouse floor — including two direct reports: the Shipping Supervisor and Receiving Supervisor.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and driven to keep things moving with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventoryLead and support two direct reports: the Shipping Supervisor and Receiving SupervisorEnsure timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipmentsConduct regular inventory cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracyWork closely with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to maintain workflow efficiencyMonitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operationsEnforce company safety policies and warehouse procedures at all timesParticipate in “Train the Trainer” programs for Order Picker, Counterbalance, and Swing Reach equipmentIdentify and resolve issues related to team performance, inventory discrepancies, or shipping delaysAssist the Warehouse Manager with special projects and act as backup when neededQualifications
High school diploma or GED3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experienceCertified to operate Order Picker, Dock Stocker, and/or Pacer equipmentFamiliarity with Reach and Swing Reach forklifts is preferredCompletion of 4-Step Worker Health & Safety Awareness TrainingStrong attention to detail with inventory and SKU managementProficiency with warehouse management software and inventory systemsCore Competencies
Strong leadership and team development skillsEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to operational excellence and customer satisfactionKnowledge of continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, 5S, Lean)Deep understanding of safety regulations and best practicesWorking Conditions
