Arts Administration General Manager

Lead Rapid Fire Theatre’s arts administration in Edmonton with financial management and empowering leadership at its core. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly opportunity.

The General Manager serves as Rapid Fire Theatre’s Chief Executive Officer, with authority from the Board of Directors. The position oversees business operations spanning finance, human resources, fundraising, marketing, sales, and contracts. You will work alongside the Artistic Director and empower accountable team members.

• Promote and execute RFT’s vision, mission, and strategic plan
• Develop administrative procedures, human resources, and operational tools
• Manage finances, budgets, accounts, and revenue targets
• Develop fundraising and sponsorship strategies and programs
• Negotiate agreements and contracts on behalf of RFT

• Five-plus years managing theatre or arts administration
• Five-plus years managing full-cycle accounting and budgeting
• Experience managing marketing and communications
• Experience preparing grant applications and government correspondence
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Sage, Slack, and Word Press
