Arts administration and outreach leadership define this General Manager position with Geri Actors Theatre Ltd. The work begins part-time and increases to 20 hours weekly in August.
Working with the Artistic Director, the General Manager oversees daily, long-term, and outreach operations. Responsibilities span tour coordination, publicity and marketing, fund development, and office administration. Geri Actors is an intergenerational theatre organization in its fourteenth season, featuring Geri Actors & Friends.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate schedules and tours for company activities
- Manage accounting and organizational budgets
- Liaise with organizations and provide requested information
- Maintain the website and develop its content
- Initiate grants, sponsor ships, and fundraising opportunities
- Experience in office administration and arts or nonprofit work
- Grant-writing and fund development experience is an asset
- Accounting and budget management experience is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Excellent organization, communication, and independent self-management skills
