QC Assembly Inspector

    In the Edmonton region we have manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Sherwood Parkand Nisku.

  • We offer various shifts:
    Rotating Day Shift (continental)
    Monday to Thursday Nightshift

  • DUTIES:

  • Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality

    Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.

    Complete sub assembly inspectionssuch as:motor, coil, evap., furnace, andpaint.

    Completeunit final inspections.

    Review inspection documents and make unit packages.

    Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.

    Assistwith education of other inspectors and production

    teammembers.

    Inspectdrawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct.

    Assistmarking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct andsubmitto Quality Supervisor.

    Inspect all aspect of units with theappropriate formsfrom the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies.

    Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.

    Performs all dutiesin accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety

    program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act,

    Regulations, and Code.

    Other duties asrequired.

    KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

    1. 1-3 years of QC experience in an organization that has an established quality program. 

    2. Carpentry, Electrical or Sheet Metal background an asset.

     3. Certification or currently working towards certification.

    4. Strong ability to read shop drawings.
