Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer

Location: St. Albert

Your role will include root cause analysis, developing work instructions, and significant involvement in production optimization.

In this position, you will analyze new product designs and implement innovative processes that enhance manufacturing operations. Your expertise in lean methodologies will be vital for reducing scrap and improving overall product quality. Training shop floor employees will also be a key component of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production failures and recommend corrective actions

• Develop clear and detailed work instructions

• Design manufacturing systems to improve safety and efficiency

• Implement lean techniques for process improvement

• Conduct layout design and time studies for production lines

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant Engineering discipline

• Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role

• Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and CAD software

• Strong analytical skills, particularly in Statistical Process Control

• Excellent communication and writing capabilities
