Adecco is currently hiring a highly skilled CNC Machinist - Lathe Operator for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a leading manufacturing client in Nisku. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in setup, programming, and precision machining , with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.

Pay Rate: 45.00 - $55.00 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Nisku, AB
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM + overtime opportunities
Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines using Weiler / Siemens controls
Machine new components to tight tolerances (up to 0.002")
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Select tooling and configure machines based on job requirements
Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
Machine and inspect taper threads (Reg, NC, FH)
Ensure work meets ISO 9001 quality standards and compliance requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 20 years of CNC machining experience (setup, programming, and operation)
MUST HAVE EXPIRIENCE WITH NEW PARTS , TOLARANCE 0.002 "
Strong background in new part manufacturing (not just production runs)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with thread inspection tools and precision measurement equipment
Knowledge of Weiler programming is a strong asset
Excellent time management and communication skills
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
