Ingersoll Rand is looking for a dedicated individual to join as an Assembly Technician/Welder. This role involves fabricating and assembling high-quality components and requires technical expertise in welding techniques, including GMAW and FCAW. You will also be responsible for adhering to safety regulations while performing precision tasks and maintaining equipment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute mechanical assembly and quality checks on components
• Fit and weld metal parts based on blueprints
• Operate various welding and metal-working equipment
• Perform maintenance on welding tools and machinery
• Handle materials efficiently with equipment like forklifts
Requirements:
• Completion of a technical trade school in welding or mechanics
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in mechanical assembly
• Basic computer skills and fabrication print interpretation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to changing conditions
• Strong adherence to safety practices
