Tool Crib Attendant – Oil & Gas Industry

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant in Redwater, Alberta. The role supports effective maintenance of refinery assets and requires a strong technical background in material management, warehousing, transportation of dangerous goods, and tool crib operations. Although the primary focus is the tool crib, the attendant is employed across all functions of the warehouse and tool crib.

This position works a day shift on a 9/80 schedule. Total rewards: $25.00–$45.00 hourly.

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, equipment, inventory parts and consumable materials.
• Verifies documents—confirms the identity, quantity, and condition of items received versus those listed on packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.
• Manages tool repairs, calibrations, and certifications.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains a perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using a micrometer, and reports damage or wear to supervisor.
• Handles and prepares dangerous goods for storage or shipment.

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
• At least one (1) year of associated work experience in issuing/receiving and repairing tools.
• Capable user of Microsoft Office and inventory management software (Maximo and/or Tool Hound).
• Knowledgeable and capable of executing shipping, receiving, and issuing practices.
• Provides status and condition reporting to the team leader.
• Coordinates with Maintenance and Reliability for deliveries of larger/heavier items to enable required work to proceed as scheduled.
• Year or more of on-site experience at a refinery.
