Gem Cabinets has been serving the Edmonton area since 1977. We are a family business committed to quality and care in every project. As a Journeyperson Cabinet Maker, you will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety and quality while working with various materials and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate machinery to cut, shape, and form wood
• Select suitable materials and tools for each task
• Plan efficient approaches to meet project deadlines
• Construct custom and standard cabinet components
• Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a cabinet making apprenticeship
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field
• Proficient in technical drawing interpretation
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and manage tasks under pressure
