Job Title: Assembly Technician/Welder

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality components and products, ensuring they meet precise specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in welding and mechanical assembly, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Read and understand fabrication blueprints/drawings.
- Perform all mechanical assembly operations of sub‑assemblies and package assembly, and functional test set up including in‑process quality checks and tests.
- Fit metal components according to provided blueprints/drawings and specifications, ensuring all tolerances are met.
- Use processes such as GMAW (MIG) and FCAW.
- Operate welding equipment (manual or semi‑automatic) and metal shaping machines.
- Ensure tasks are performed in the allotted time and in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate forklift, hand truck and/or other material handling equipment to move material as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform basic maintenance.
- Operate metal‑working equipment including press brake, saws, etc. as required.
- Mask and paint parts as required.
- Technical trade school in welding or mechanics.
- Minimum 1–2 years of mechanical assembly and welding experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience reading and understanding fabrication prints.
- Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Ability to operate forklift and cranes (training provided).
