Lead production at Five Corners Meat Co. in Edmonton and ensure operational excellence in a unionized environment. Oversee planning, safety, quality, and cost control, driving team success.
As a Production Manager reporting to the Plant Manager, you will take charge of production planning, line efficiency, yield management, and workforce development. Your leadership will ensure targets for customer service, quality, food safety, and costs are met consistently, while also maintaining a safe plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan manpower and schedules to meet production demands
• Drive efficiency and speed across production lines
• Enforce HACCP and BRC standards for food safety
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with regulations
• Coach Production Supervisors and Lead Hands effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in food or meat processing
• Experience in leading unionized production teams
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and OHS regulations
• Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills
• Post secondary education in relevant fields
