Shift Vacancies
Afternoon
Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:20 pm - 1:50 am
10% shift premium after approximately 2-4 months of training on day shift until able to work independently.
Day
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

General Objective
Under direction, plan, organize, and coordinate the tool calibration activities for Q.C Department, Machinist measurement tools and other measurement equipment, both Norquest and Employee owned. Organize measuring tools so they are accurately and consistently calibrated to precise requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform calibration with all company/employee tools
Communication skills with machinists, tool crib, QC Manager, employees and other shop Supervisor’s (Sending emails)
Help identify areas of improvement for the Quality Management System
Use of Optical Comparator
Apply inspection techniques, knowledge, and experience by measuring and monitoring tools and equipment
Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Norquest
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined, able to repair and assess broken tools
Minimum 2 Years of experience in calibration and knowledge with measuring instruments
QC Experience
Faro or CMM experience
Experience with audits
Knowledge in API and ISO requirements for calibration
Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Advanced QC measuring techniques and experience by using a variety of inspection and measurement tools and instruments
Great computer skills
