Join our dedicated team as a General Labourer in our Nisku facility, specializing in OCTG preparation. You’ll experience a fast-paced production environment ensuring quality threading practices.
This role entails reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor while preparing OCTG to meet customer and threading licensors’ specifications.
You'll work with an assortment of tools in this physically demanding position set in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage tools and equipment to prepare OCTG effectively
• Comply with WHMIS standards when handling hazardous materials
• Implement Argus Standard Operating Procedures during processes
• Read production orders and complete related documentation
• Measure and verify casing dimensions using metric and imperial systems
Requirements:
• Machine shop experience beneficial
• Skills in using measuring devices essential
• General understanding of oil and gas industry products
• Awareness of safe work practices is necessary
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
