We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team.
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and supporting the production of mechanical components and equipment in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role focuses on hands‑on mechanical assembly and the operation of shop equipment, with opportunities to support hydraulic assembly and testing activities as an asset based on experience and training. The position may be filled at an entry‑level or experienced level and offers opportunities for skill development and progression within the organization.
Hydraulic experience is considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification and licensing to operate forklift is strongly preferredExperience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial shop environmentExperience assembling, installing, or servicing mechanical components on heavy equipment, vehicles, or industrial machineryBasic experience inspecting, testing, or assisting with equipment assembly or repairsGeneral understanding of mechanical systems and production equipmentPrior experience in a mechanical assembly or production roleExposure to hydraulic systems, components, or mobile hydraulics is considered an assetPrevious experience with vacuum trucks, hydrovacs, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment is a strong assetExperience working with PTO systems and hydraulic power units is preferred but not requiredExperience performing basic equipment testing, diagnostics, or troubleshooting in a production environmentExperience collaborating with welders, electricians, and other mechanical assemblers in a shop settingAbility to safely operate hand and power tools with proper trainingAbility to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and basic schematicsAwareness of workplace safety standards and willingness to work cautiously in industrial environmentsGood time management skills and willingness to adapt to changing production prioritiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and start assigned assembly and production equipment at the beginning of each shiftPerform mechanical and light manufacturing assembly using hand tools and power toolsAssemble components and sub‑assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standardsOperate shop equipment such as band saws, drill presses, and iron workers in accordance with training and safety requirementsInspect completed assemblies to ensure workmanship and quality requirements are metMonitor equipment and production processes to ensure safe and proper operationPerform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to the immediate supervisorMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workstation; assist in keeping the factory floor cleanClean tools, equipment, and work areas to support safe and efficient operationsAdhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures related to equipment operation, material handling, and productionSupport the achievement of daily production targets and deadlines through efficient work practicesCommunicate production status, delays, or issues clearly to supervisors or team leadsC…
