We are looking for individuals who hold a secondary school graduation certificate and possess 7 months to under 1 year of cabinetmaking experience. Your responsibilities will involve operating various woodworking machinery and hand tools to create, assemble, and finish wood products. A focus on safety, organization, and accuracy is a must in our workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate machines like mortisers and shapers for wood parts
• Shape and finish surfaces using planes and files
• Interpret drawings and specifications for woodworking projects
• Assemble cabinets by trimming joints and fitting parts
• Prepare finishes including stains, polishes, and laminated plastics
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary (high) school education
• Relevant woodworking experience of 7 months or more
• Must work on-site, no remote options available
• Must be a Canadian citizen or hold a valid work permit
• Strong organizational skills required
