SUMMARYPrimoris Canada is seeking Journeyman Welder B Pressure welders to support multiple long-term projects at our fabrication shop in Edmonton, AB. This position involves pressure pipe welding in a controlled indoor fabrication environment, supporting small diameter pipe spools and fabricated assemblies ranging from 2” to 12” in size.

Inclusive Rate: $58.16(inclusive of employer contributions)
Hourly Rate: $46.66 .Additional Premium:
Night shift $3.00

JOB DUTIES Perform B-pressure pipe welding in an indoor fabrication shop Comply with Company safety requirements

Read and interpret weld procedures (WPS) and isometric drawings

Weld using SMAW, and STT/FCAW processes

Complete roll welds, groove welds, and fillet welds

Inspect and verify weld quality to code and specifications

Work safely around overhead cranes, rigging, and material handling equipment

Participate in toolbox meetings and safety orientations

Maintain housekeeping within indoor work areas

Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSAlberta registered Journeyman Welder Valid B-Pressure Ticket recognized by ABSAExperience with roll welding, groove, and fillet welds

Fabrication shop experience preferredCSTS-20

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Strong commitment to safety and quality
