Production Scheduler Alberta

Drive operational excellence as a Production Scheduler in Edmonton, Alberta. You'll create and manage the Master Production Schedule to align operations with customer demand and resource utilization.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Scheduler ensures the seamless integration of production with sales forecasts and inventory levels. In this role, you will develop production schedules, create inventory reports, and track overtime to meet operational targets. Adaptability to schedule changes and collaboration with management are key to success in fulfilling customer orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

• Develop daily and weekly production schedules

• Align production with sales forecasts and inventory levels

• Generate inventory reports regularly

• Track overtime and make production schedule adjustments

Requirements:

• 3-year college diploma in Materials Management or equivalent

• 3-5 years of manufacturing scheduling experience

• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
