As a Machinist, you’ll join the Crankshaft Salvage department, utilizing various machining tools and techniques for salvaging parts. Previous experience with horizontal lathes, radial arm drills, and CNC equipment is desired, but the company values all skill levels, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate horizontal lathes and milling machines for salvage tasks
• Perform complex salvage techniques with precision
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
• Support Caterpillar contamination control initiatives
• Document procedures accurately and maintain safety compliance
Requirements:
• Journeyperson machinist certification or Red Seal
• Experience in machine shop environments preferred
• Ability to comprehend and produce technical drawings
• Demonstrated documentation and measuring capabilities
• Must safely lift materials weighing up to 40 pounds
