Be part of Bimbo Canada's innovative team as a Baking Technology Specialist in Edmonton. Ensure top-quality products through technical support and collaboration across manufacturing plants.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with factory management and the R&D team to address issues in baking processes and support the launch of new products. Flexibility in travel across Western Canada is needed, along with adaptable working hours aligned with production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot baking process challenges and implement solutions
• Collaborate with R&D for product testing and quality improvement
• Supervise commercialization milestones with plant teams
• Support quality complaint resolutions and process improvements
• Coach employees on baking techniques and equipment
Requirements:
• Degree in Food Science and Technology
• 2-3 years of experience in similar roles
• Proven leadership skills and effective communication
• Competence in MS Office tools
• Detail-oriented with a focus on problem-solving
