Join Cham Clad in Edmonton as Slitting Staff, where precision meets production. You'll manage foil rolls with a focus on safety, inventory control, and quality assurance.
As a Slitting Staff at Cham Clad, your role is vital in maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Duties include preparing and slitting foil rolls while ensuring compliance with FIFO procedures. You'll operate the slitting machine safely and monitor quality, all while collaborating with the Machine Team Leader to keep production flows smooth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review daily slitting schedule for production
• Operate slitting machine with safety and precision
• Perform Dyne tests to ensure correct tension
• Limit slits per roll and label accurately
• Communicate availability and issues with Machine Team Leader
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly
• Willingness to work second shift with premium
• Good communication within the team
• Commitment to safety and waste reduction
