Join our component reman division as a Manual Machinist. Utilize your machining expertise in boring, profile machining, and threading to meet customer specifications.
As a Manual Machinist, you will be essential to our skilled team, working primarily with machines to prep and finish parts such as rods, barrels, and pistons. With a minimum of five years of machining experience, you will read blueprints and work orders, as well as set up and operate various machines, ensuring precision throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform boring, key way cutting, and profile machining
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Calculate dimensions using math and instruments
• Measure and test units for compliance with specifications
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machines
Requirements:
• Journeyman certificate preferred, apprentices accepted
• Minimum five years' machining experience
• Knowledge of lathes, mills, and precision tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Willingness to work occasional overtime
