Fabricate pipe in Acheson as a B-Pressure Welder using weld procedures, flux cored wire, and qualified joining techniques.
Primoris Canada seeks a Welder for its fabrication shop in Acheson. The position joins pipe and piping components while following client requirements, safety rules, and OH&S standards. Work runs Monday through Thursday on ten-hour day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Read weld procedures and determine job requirements
- Join pipe and other piping components
- Use specified electrodes and flux cored wire processes
- Clean welds and check for defects
- Attend safety and tailgate toolbox meetings
- Alberta registered ticketed journeyman qualification
- Valid B-Pressure ticket
- CSTS-09 and or CSTS-20 certification
- Experience roll welding groove and fillet welds
- Ability to lift 50 pounds physically
