Handle materials with forklifts, hoists, and lifting devices at Silent-Aire. Maintain accurate weighing, storage, shipping, and receiving activities while following safety standards.
This Forklift Operator supports Silent-Aire’s custom equipment manufacturing operations as part of Johnson Controls. You will move, weigh, check, store, ship, and receive materials across the yard or factory. The position also includes inventory support, vehicle maintenance, facility cleanup, and communication with production and plant management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately weigh and document materials
Assist with inventory counts and control documentation
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
Clean up yard and facility areas
Manually move materials from pallets, platforms, and vehicles
Requirements:
Minimum two years as a licensed forklift operator
Warehouse or shipping environment experience
Understanding of safe lifting and handling techniques
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to carry and move supplies over 40 pounds
Use forklift operation, material handling, inventory documentation, and equipment maintenance skills in Silent-Aire manufacturing operations.
