Support inventory control and material flow as a Forklift Operator at Silent-Aire. Work outdoors and indoors while maintaining safety, documentation, and accurate transactions.
Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, needs a Forklift Operator for storage yard and factory material movement. You will confirm inventory transactions, place received materials correctly, and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, weighing, and documentation activities. The environment may include cold or hot outdoor conditions, standing, crouching, sitting, overtime, and naturally occurring hazards.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm inventory transactions are complete
- Support inventory control through accurate documentation
- Determine appropriate tools and equipment for assigned work
- Operate lifting devices according to safety standards
- Follow Alberta occupational health and safety requirements
- Two years of forklift operation experience
- Valid forklift operator license
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements
- Ability to work independently in changing conditions
- Willingness to work overtime as required
