The Social Media Strategist will support the Social Media Manager in running the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser’s social media accounts by assisting with engagement and helping to manage posts. The role begins with initial setup in the spring, with peak activity from September to December.

- Assist in Managing Social Media Accounts:
Help monitor and update BSSF’s Linked In, Instagram, and Tik Tok. - Content Posting:
Support in posting pre-made content and scheduling posts when needed. - Monitor Social Media Trends:
Identify trends that could benefit the fundraiser’s online presence. - Collaborate with the Social Media Team:
Work with the Social Media Manager, Video Editor, and Graphic Designer to maintain a consistent presence. - Report to the Social Media Manager:
Provide updates on tasks and assist where needed.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, X, You Tube, Tik Tok).
- Organized and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to collaborate with a team and take direction from the Social Media Manager.
- Own laptop with internet access and camera (as applicable).
- Must be a Canadian student in grades 9-12 during the school year.
- Join and contribute to a passionate, growing, and successful team.
- Special reference letter written by Mike Stelter and Aariz Mawji.
- Learning and leadership experience running a multi-school fundraiser.
