In the role of Communications Officer, you will be vital in providing strategic communications to the Superintendent and Board of Trustees. Your responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, media relations, and public relations planning to ensure a consistent narrative. You will also play a key role in digital communication and marketing initiatives across the Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective marketing and communication strategies

• Advise leadership on public-facing communications and issues management

• Produce content across various media platforms and formats

• Enhance relationships with community and educational partners

• Organize community events and outreach initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in communications

• Background in public education or government preferred

• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills

• Expertise in social media management and digital tools
