This full-time role based in Edmonton requires a strategic leader skilled in crafting presentations and overseeing impactful events. You will collaborate closely with executives and community partners to develop engaging narratives that align with United Way’s vision. The role emphasizes connecting organizational culture and community impact through clear messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead event execution from concept to delivery
• Develop internal communications that foster employee engagement
• Write speeches and prepare leaders for public speaking
• Gather authentic stories that align with strategic priorities
• Coach staff on effective communications and presentation skills
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant field such as Marketing or Communications
• 6-7 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products
• Strong storytelling and audience engagement skills
• Valid driver's license for travel within Alberta
