As a Communications Advisor, you will lead communications efforts crucial to both employee relations and community engagement. Your expertise in media relations and crisis communication will be vital during collective bargaining cycles and emergencies. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic communications plans for collective bargaining
• Draft sensitive internal and external communication materials
• Prepare media responses with subject matter experts
• Support corporate contingency and crisis communications plans
• Provide expert tactical support to various departments
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in Communications or related field
• Minimum two years’ experience in public relations or crisis communications
• ICS
200 training required within 30 days of hire
• Strong writing and relationship-building skills
• Experience in labour relations is an asset
