Salary Range: $65 053 -$71 807 annually

The Marketing Specialist leads bold marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, donor engagement with results that strengthen community support. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic with strong project coordination, creative content and partner collaboration for the Dream Home & Win
50 Lottery campaigns, while also contributing to Fund Development, Volunteer Recruitment and broader brand awareness campaigns.

The key responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Lead, plan and coordinate integrated marketing campaigns and projects ensuring seamless user transitions across radio, TV, print advertising, digital landing pages and other channels.
  • Develop campaign timelines, content calendars, key messages and marketing materials that align with Agency brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Coordinate creative, media buys, advertising schedules, website content, social media activity and promotional materials with internal teams, vendors and contractors.
  • Support Dream Home Lottery marketing requirements, including AGLC-compliant messaging, signage, media activity, sales updates and campaign reporting.
  • Use AI tools to enhance messaging, marketing materials, and high impact print or video content while maintaining an authentic brand voice.
  • Create, edit and repurpose clear, audience-focused content for print, digital, social, email, video and advertising platforms.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts, vendors, contractors, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Track campaign performance, maintain accurate records and prepare reports on results, trends, media value, sales sources and engagement metrics to improve performance.
  • Support project events, photo and video shoots, media activities and community-facing promotional opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling messages that promote the need for mentors in the lives of children and youth.
  • Work closely with agency departments to support their marketing and communication needs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Business-Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Social Media Management for non-profit fundraising or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ combined experience in marketing, communications, and project management.
  • Lottery and/or volunteer recruitment experience is considered a specialized asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Word Press website content management systems.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and performance reporting tools.
  • A solid understanding of the Edmonton media landscape and donor market.
  • Proven understanding of digital and social media communication mediums, database systems, and website management.

  • Highly creative with a strong ability and keenness to sell a concept/cause to new or established networks.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to engage, interact and network effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Candidates must be capable of performing independently as well as part of a team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills.
