Voice of Albertans with Disabilities (VAD) Society seeks a Volunteer Chairperson for AGLC bingo events. This vital role encompasses ensuring adherence to Alberta Gaming regulations, overseeing volunteers, and representing VAD during afternoon and evening sessions. Your involvement supports crucial services that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent VAD at assigned bingo events
• Ensure operations meet AGLC standards
• Oversee and guide bingo volunteers
• Communicate with bingo hall staff and AGLC
• Complete and submit required AGLC paperwork
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliance with AGLC volunteering criteria
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Availability for afternoon and/or evening shifts
• Complete necessary training provided by VAD Society
