What You’ll Do
Through relationship‑building, outreach, and inclusive engagement practices, create positive and empowering experiences that promote growth, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.

Functions & responsibilities:

Volunteer program coordination

Stewardship support

Events and community engagement

Must-Haves

Post‑secondary education in Communications, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Human Resources, Community Development, Public Relations or a related field is preferred

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

2‑4 years of experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement or a related role

Experience working in a non‑profit or community‑based organization is an asset

Experience recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers or teams

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Commitment to equity, inclusion and creating a sense of belonging

Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector completed obtained within 60‑days of date of hire

Working with Us
Compensation starts at $27.30/hour, with increases based on experience and qualifications.

Jerry Forbes Centre

Position status:
Regular full‑time 37.5 hours per week
