Edmonton Youth Outreach Worker

Your role will involve engaging youth aged 16 to 30, particularly those from Indigenous and underserved communities. By facilitating workshops and conducting outreach, you'll help participants understand the importance of volunteerism and develop essential skills for non-profit work environments. This position is vital in fostering community connections and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote volunteerism among youth and facilitate workshops.
• Recruit youth participants through targeted outreach activities.
• Collaborate with local non-profits to secure volunteer roles.
• Maintain accurate participant documentation and resources.
• Host workshops and guest speaker events to enrich the program.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years in outreach or recruitment roles.
• Preferred background in social services or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license for Alberta required.
• Effective communication and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with youth engagement strategies is a plus.
