Engage youth in meaningful outreach as a Coordinator with The Salvation Army in St. Albert. Create inviting programs for children and teenagers, emphasizing faith, community, and belonging.
In this permanent full-time position, you will lead programs designed for youth aged 11-17 and coordinate children's ministry initiatives.
Your role involves mentoring, organizing community activities, and working closely with volunteers to make a lasting impact. Through faith influences and relevant programming, you will guide youth toward positive personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Bunker Youth Drop-In programming
• Develop and facilitate children's faith-based activities
• Build community connections with families and schools
• Supervise and support youth program volunteers
• Maintain participation records and program promotion
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum of two years' experience in youth work
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Valid Alberta Class “5” Driver’s License required
• Background screening with vulnerable sector check mandatory
