Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Associate Director of Ministry Development serves alongside the Executive Director to strengthen, expand, and steward the ministry of Resurgence Initiatives. This role exists to build the ministry — developing leaders, strengthening partnerships, coordinating ministry initiatives, and helping implement the vision and strategy of Resurgence. The Associate Director helps translate vision into action by building systems, mobilizing people, and ensuring key initiatives move forward effectively.

This leader works closely with staff, volunteers, churches, and partners to expand the reach and impact of Resurgence. We are at a crucial moment as an organization, where incredible missions opportunities locally but internationally have opened up. The role will help develop the global call on Resurgence. That involves working with local pastors, developing teams to go, and organizing large scale events.

This role requires someone who carries both a ministry heart and an entrepreneurial spirit, able to lead teams, cultivate relationships, and develop new opportunities for ministry growth. This leader will help drive ministry growth through leadership development, strategic partnerships, events, missions mobilization, and organizational systems.

Required Skills

A committed follower of Jesus Christ who reflects the values and mission of Resurgence.

Agreement with and ability to live out the Resurgence Leadership Agreement.

Leadership experience in ministry, non-profit, or organizational leadership.

Ministerial credentials or active connection to a recognized ministry network is strongly preferred.

Experience working with churches and ministry leaders across denominations is an asset.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and develop ministry initiatives.

Comfortable working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial ministry environment.

Someone with a strong love for the local church and building the Kingdom.

Post-secondary education in ministry, leadership, business or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
