Join The Mustard Seed as a Donation Centre Associate and Driver in Edmonton, contributing to meaningful community support. This role focuses on receiving, sorting, and delivering donations that directly assist those in need.
In this full-time position, your main focus will be on handling clothing and household item donations. You will pack and deliver these items efficiently to various centers while ensuring positive interactions with donors and volunteers.
Your role is vital in maintaining organized records and creating a welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with donors to receive and sort donations
• Successfully pack orders for delivery to assigned locations
• Mentor volunteers in their sorting and packing tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area
• Complete detailed reporting of donations received
Requirements:
• Experience driving a transit van is necessary
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office for data entry
• Passion for working in a faith-based organization
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
