Community Programs Coordinator

Lead impactful community initiatives with the Newcomer Centre as a Community Programs Coordinator in hybrid Edmonton. Oversee diverse programs to promote social connection and belonging for newcomers.

This full-time role requires strong leadership skills and experience in community-based program coordination. You will manage Global Youth and Global Garden programs, fostering collaboration among staff, volunteers, and partner organizations. Your focus will be on program implementation, participant support, and continuous improvements to services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and professional development for staff and volunteers

• Coordinate Global Youth and Global Garden program delivery

• Support planning and continuous improvement of community programs

• Monitor participation and program operational needs

• Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of community program coordination experience

• Background in non-profit or community services sector

• Knowledge of youth development and engagement best practices

• Strong relationship-building skills

• Commitment to inclusion and community-centered service delivery
