Leduc Nonprofit Capacity Building Manager

Location: City of Leduc

Enhance the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector in Leduc as a Nonprofit Capacity Building Coordinator. This full-time role involves community engagement and strategic guidance to local organizations.

As part of the City of Leduc's Community & Social Development team, your focus will be on strengthening nonprofit organizations through partnerships and access to municipal services. You will identify community needs and develop initiatives that ensure organizational sustainability while contributing positively to local welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations

• Facilitate collaboration between nonprofits and municipal resources

• Monitor community trends and support emerging needs

• Assist in navigating municipal funding opportunities

• Prepare reports on sector trends and community priorities

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Social Services or related field

• Minimum three years in community or nonprofit development

• Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
